CRISIS MANAGEMENT. AN ORGANIZATIONAL / INSTITUTIONAL APPROACH.

The project considers the study of crisis management in different areas, such as social security, natural disasters, water resources, education, emergencies, terrorism, security. In this first section, the project aims to continue with the lines of health and migration, but focused on the development of COVID19 in Mexico in a first stage, both in the health sector and in migration. This will take place in the context of crisis management in two main areas: the first relationship with health and social security systems, and the second with cross-border migration crises. These topics are studied from public policies and public administration, particularly from institutional analysis and organization theory. We wonder about the nature and characteristics of the organizational / institutional dimensions that influence coordination and regulatory mechanisms during crisis management of COVID 19 in Mexico.

OBJECTIVE

Analyze the coordination and regulation mechanisms during a crisis situation, and in particular about the operation of these variables when it comes to crisis management in the health sector, either in the provision of services or in vulnerable areas such as migration as a cross-border phenomenon.

How organizational and institutional dimensions influence the instruments of coordination and regulation in crisis management in the health sector and in migration as a phenomenon of transboundary crisis.
